Purdy is an expert in the areas of Serious Games, Immersive Learning, Interactive Media, Multimedia, and Interactive Media and Internet Education.

Purdy’s 25-year career in interactive media and learning started in the software development environment of Nortel Networks. He became interested in multimedia as a training and communication tool, and developed some of the earliest business uses of multimedia in the U.S. Purdy integrated this experience with the growth of the Internet to develop and oversee the creation a number of award-winning edu-tainment, learning, interactive media and gaming projects over the years, including eight ground-breaking Serious Games for Cisco Systems.

Purdy is now co-owner and President of Red Knight Learning Systems, which creates learning solutions in areas known as Serious Games, Immersive Learning Simulations, Digital Exhibits, Video Learning, and Virtual Learning Worlds. He also writes and speaks about Serious Games and Immersive Learning.

I am interested in what you do. I am also interested in finding out more. I have a gaming center and would really like to incoroprate learning with the game play. I'm not sure how to go about that but I am open to your suggestions.
